I have the sweetest horse in the world ( not only my opinion but from some
one who almost bought her :-) ) but on occasion she has done a baby buck, we
immediately stop dead in our tracks, a firm yank on the reins, and a tounge
lashing that I will not tolerate any nonsense at all, if we are too wound up
or pissy she gets a smack on the neck usually a good yelling at is enough,
then we continue on as if nothing had happened except I pay a little more
attention to what she is thinking. did you check to see if anything on your
tack or your person is poking him or if there is hair that is crunched under
the saddle pad or something ? a stone bruise ? Something in the area that
your horse doesn't like the looks of ? It never hurts to think about the
dumbest or smallest things. Good Luck :-)
