I think the AERC has done an excellent job over the years of
maintaining and supporting the sport of endurance. They are dedicated
to the sport, and I will certainly re-join, and I encourage everyone
else to do the same.

Come on, guys. The price increase is the same as filling your trucks
half full of gas. It is the cost of one-third to one-quarter of a
shoeing job. It is one fourth or so of the cost of a ride entry. I
suggest skipping a dinner out one week and continuing to support the
AERC.

Tomorrow morning I will call AERC and not only cancel our ads but also inform
them of why they will not be seeing our renewal next month. $65 is too much
compared to other organizations, and too much for all but the weekly
competitors. AND WHY ARE THEY NOT HOLDING TO CHARGING NON MEMBERS?? WHAT'S
GOING ON? By the way, any of you interested in joining ASHAI< let me know and
I'll E-Mail the phone and address. For horses with any part Arab who do
distance, hunters, dressage, etc., and THEY have awards as well, count ANY
competition, and cost less! Hey, maybe they'll become a sanctioning body for
us! HMMMM. I'll give Pamela a call, too! OPINIONS? Let me here from you!
