Magnum Update: His infection seems to have
healed up nicely. He is sound and full of energy
again, but he's getting the next 4 weeks off
until his splint calcifies over. Perhaps longer.

In the mean time, Darlene King from Ramos has
loaned me her little Arab gelding. And I mean
little... little... little. So, how does this barely
14 hand Arab/pony compare to a 15.3 TB?
He's a kick! He sure doesn't feel small. He
has a *heck* of a trot (great angulation) and
can literally cover ground about as fast as
the Magnum horse! He's got a puppy-dog
friendly personallity and carries himself like
he's 16 hand tall. I LIKE this little horse!
I really don't feel like I'm that close to the
ground until I dismount.

He does this funny leaning thing. He'll
plant his feet and lean forward with
head and neck outstreached. Then he'll
lean way back or side to side... without
moving his feet! He reminds me of that
streachey guy from Captain Kangaroo.
He's too cute!

If I was in the market for a second horse,
George would be it... I'm slowly figuring
out why y'all have these great little Arabs.
But my heart still belongs to my TB...
