I have to agree with this. I like to ride at night, and I think that it
is a good skill to develop. I've seen pictures of people riding with
"headlights", and wondered if they would be able to see without them.
I do ride at my Mother's, on private forest property, so I feel pretty
safe riding at night. However, it can get spooky at times.... It helps
that I ride with 2 good dogs. I just think that it is especially
important to trust the instincts of you and your horse when riding at
night.
