Thanks, Leslie, for getting us going on this. I am planning to
be there, unless Ron runs off somewhere else with the van at the last
minute. I have to remind him every other day about our Pt. Reyes
plans so he doesn't forget and commit to a boating expedition. If he
decides he doesn't want to go he can at least let me have the vehicle.

Our rig is a gray & white Chevy van with a small white 2-horse trailer.
Van license is "TAC RM"; trailer has one-piece wood tailgate.
My mount of choice will be a chestnut Peruvian Paso mare; Ron's horse
is a roan-dun Peruvian gelding. (If by chance I have trailer space,
I will post a note and can pick up anyone from South Bay Area or
along the way on either side of bay, within _reasonable_ distance of
main routes.)

I have a portable PVC corral to try out, but will bring hardware for a
picket line in case the corral doesn't work.

Does anyone remember how far apart are the picket posts at Pt. Reyes?
