First, I've been off the list again for the last couple
days... actually I've been off COMPLETELY. All
incoming messages addressed to me have been
sent to message heaven. Apparently someone
in Bosel (Syntex was bought out by Roche in
August of last year. Those of us still here keep
getting hit by stray flack) put my name on the
list of accounts to delete. I don't *even*
KNOW anyone in Bosel. For now I've lost all
my saved messages... but I will check the
archive (Thanks Steph for that Archive!) and
the system support people are doing a tape
recovery. ... For all that WORK related stuff,
not horse stuff, of course! ;-) I'll be back up
for reals tomorrow (8/10)
AND... *sob* Rascal has cancer. We're going
to loose him in the next few days. We are
trying to contact his owner, but she'll be
out of town until Saturday. We can't put
him down without her permission. Rats.
He just really started dropping weight like
crazy and the blood work from May shows
some form of cancer somewhere. He's old
and it's time. I just hope he can go now
in peace. We'll miss him terribly. But
at least he's sound and happy and hopefully
he won't have to go through the worst
stuff.
