a few things!

Hi everyone, First of all, yes, good luck to all you (lucky) people that get
to go to the Tevis. One year...
Two. The lady who was going to lease my stallion can't because the durn
person she is leasing the farm from says no stallions. I don't see why,
myself; this place is fairly well isolated from other horses (read mares)
and seems to have very good fencing and horsey wise neighbors. I was under
the impression that older people were able to make their own decisions
regarding what they can and can't handle. The lady isn't even going to give
him a chance!
ANyway, I still have a (nice) stallion for lease to do endurance with if
anyone is interested. She did come and ride him, and liked him quite well.
He has a good attitude.

Three. I went to see the stallion I posted about a few weeks ago. THe price
is down to $1200, and in my HO, this horse is worth much more than that. He
is Extremely true to type, and the bone and legs on this horse are
phenomenal. He also has a h*** of a stride, reaching well underneath
himself. His hip is incredible. The only flaw that I saw was a bit of a
thick neck, but it wasn't short or anything! He has an excellent attitude,
even with non horsey people, the lady who showed him doesn't have a clue
about horses and he never took advantage of her. If there is anyone out
there that is even remotely interested in him for endurance, go see him, he
is well worth the drive! email me privately for more info. He could also be
a good herd stallion for someone into Raffles type. He got all the good
qualities. i found out his previous owner had Multiple Sclerosis, so he had
to be gentler for her to be able to deal with him.

Anyway, sorry to keep bugging with this. I wish I could afford their price.
I made a semi low bid on him, but I already have too many stallions! Some of
us are just destined to be stallion owners I guess.

Also, does anyone have the phone number for Pete Wilson, of the Promised
LAnd, VA, USA? He is always at the Old Dominion, but I can't seem to locate
his Number anywhere! He rode a horse named Odin.
Thank you for listening and hope to hear from some of you!
Again, good luck at all the rides....!
Gwen
