I'm not sure about the claims made by all manufacturers. Having read some of
the literature, it seems that they don't really make any solid claims, they
merely put a load of stuff in there, mostly anecdotal evidence, provided by a
DVM and others who seem to have found some beneficial effects beyond the
anti-inflammatory effect.

Never the less, given that testing hasn't been conducted how can we be sure
that there is an anti inflammatory effect? :) Surely we should be as skeptical
about this effect as any of the other effects?

By the way can someone explain this one to me. All the literature claims that
MSM is nearly tasteless. I've found the stuff to taste vile (very) even the so
called pure patented stuff made by Vita Flex.
