This is why I have wondered, I have brought my horse thru CA,OR,WA,ID and
now live on the border of WA/ID and never have yet been inspected, just
flagged thru if they were even open, which is rare. Questionable how
important this is for the inspection stations. I agree, prevention is the
best action, but the flyers announcing the rides need to start putting this
as a requirement, i.e. shod horse for everyone to get into the prevention
mode. This is where the education needs to start. None of the flyers I have
seen have put Coggins/Health Certs as a requirement. Lolo is appearing to
require it, even for intra-state ID residents, in order to be able to race.
ID residents may not be prepared for this if they never go out of the state.

I'll be preared, but will everyone? I'd hate to see someone get turned away.
