Regarding the issue of the stallion and hernia/sore testicles, I spoke with
Charles Craver once at Craver Farms. He has only ridden stallions for years
and owns currently 20 0f them. He cautioned me early on about the size and
stature of any possible endurance prospects which were stallions and to
always consider the size of the testicles. This man has had experience
riding only stallions since 1955, so I would consider him another source for
information. They raise Davenport Arabians in Illinois. Let me know if
you'd be interested in hearing his experiences (although I would certainly
defer to a veterinarian's ultimately). Charles is a wealth of information.
