Davenport is about 4 miles north of Santa Cruz on Hwy 1, and
Castle Rock State Park is several miles inland from there.
Come to think of it, I don't even know if the ride is held in
the park or just takes its name from the Castle Rock formations
in the area.
Oh well, I'll be running a horse show all weekend and that is
another kind of endurance event. :-(
