I've just bought a nylon combo halter / bridle for each of my two mares but
they came without reins. My question is should I go with the nylon reins I
have seen advertised? I'm concerned that they might be very slippery (even
with my pebbly palmed gloves). Or do they have a non-slip coating on them?
What about biothane reins - would these be better and provide more grip than
plain nylon?
Any help will be appreciated for both me, Mayflower and Sami.
