[RC] Saddle for a friends mule - Chastain, Shannon L.
I have a friend
that is planning on competing this year with me at least in the MOTDRA’s
CTR rides I do. She has a very nice MFT mule that is 14 and a bit sway backed.
She is having some saddle fit issues with the western (very heavy) saddle that
came with the mule. He is sore in the loin and I know the saddle is too long
for him and I think it is a bit too narrow. Amelia is like me a person that
cannot afford the 2 to 3K saddles and I would like to get her into a
specialized just wondering if any other Mule people are using the specialized.
Or what are you using and any other suggestion since he is sway back. Private

This mule was
really made for this sport he walks very very fast I need to remember my gps
the next time we ride the trails together to see just how fast he walks. We did
one nice long ride at the caves (before all the snow hit) at a good 5 mph pace
and he came back into camp with a heart rate of 42.
