Yes, but it can sure spot up your jeans (:>) which is why I prefer the Lysol solution in a spray bottle, just give a couple squirts deep into the crevices and the frog and if it gets on my clothes, no big deal. And if it does happen to get on the skin of the horse, IMO, it is less irritating than bleach. I've had the Lysol solution all over my hands with no problems, but with bleach, I can get a rash, almost like a burn. I wouldn't want to risk that on sensitive pasterns.

In the olden days we used bleach...it works, and it's cheap too.
