Lots of people just buy, or make, a "slip on"
tube of fleece that goes over the leathers from stirrup to well above
knee.. It may feel a bit thick right at first but smushes down soon.
Stops all the pinching, rubbing, etc.
If you put the leathers under the flaps/fenders it
may be too much presure on the horse's sides with some saddles.
A full fleece cover with the leathers between the
cover and flaps works well for many. All of the above depend on saddle
type.
hmmmm..... Astral glide, copious amounts on the affected area

I have an Specialized Saddle that is an International. When
I ride...I get Friction rubs on my leg. I was wondering if, I could find a
solution from anyone! The stirrup leathers are thick and wide...not slender
like an Wentic Dressage saddle-the buckles also cause a problem. What can I
do? I have heard that others have had this problem also with the International
specialized saddle...any suggestions...anyone? I will take anything and try
anything to not have my leg in pain from an Friction Rub!
