Re: [RC] [Consider This] West Country pagans tie horses in knots - Beverley H. Kane, MDTitle: Re: [RC] [Consider This] West Country pagans tie horses in knots <hysterical laughter>For several years, I leased a gorgeous grey Arabian mare with a long flowing mane. Many times, I was bemused and perturbed by the fact that when I brought her in from pasture, one (and only one) of her locks was plaited in a man-made-looking 3-strand braid. The lesson office manager, who was later let go for mental instability, told me, and nearly had me convinced, that the Mexican ranch workers were braiding the manes as a religious ritual. After a while it became clear to me that the wind was responsible, and I am seeing the same effect in my friend’s mare in our 40 acre pasture where the farm hands never venture. The cure is Cowboy Magic Shine and Detangler.
