Hi everyone!
First I would like to introduce myself as I have been a lurker for a
couple of years.
My name is Pat, I have 2 horses at this time. One Arab and one
Mustang/Arab.
I live in Kansas and ride in the Central region mostly. I have a few
hundred miles between
LD and 50's. Casper the younger horse is the one I am working on now. He
did
his first 50 in Oct at X mas in Kansas. We finished in a ride time of
8:15 hrs.
Second> Howard. I can be a lot like him in many ways. He loves to play
that devils advocate.
He is there to make you think.(without getting in a hissy like some of us
like to do)
This does not mean I agree with him especially on the subject of the LD
pulse down.
I do not feel that in Central region that we are second class citizens or
that there is
a problem with getting the pulse down when you come in at 5:58.
These are still good questions to look at though. 
Please keep your eyes and ears open and think, WHY IS HOWARD DOING THIS!
