Ridecamp: [RC] [Guest] Question regarding sports saddle sizing

I am considering purchasing a sport saddle for a 13 yr old girl who is new
to riding.  My best guess as to seat size is a 14 or 14 1/2".

Can you sport saddle enthusiasts offer suggestions as to height of pommel
and cantle?  I am assuming the full 4" height would be preferable to "lock
her in" but perhaps that is not desirable.  Would you recommend a seat cover
to avoid "slipping" issues?
