[RC] [Guest] ACHILLES TENDON INJURY - Ridecamp Guest

    JENNITER TERP JENTERP@xxxxxxxxxxx
    Hi Fellow riders,

I am currently recovering from surgery from a complete rupture of my
achilles tendon. I am wondering if anyone out there has had this surgery
and how long it was before they were riding comfortably for any distance.
My injury was about ten weeks ago now (no horse involved, but a nest of bees
and a ditch I stepped in while running frantically) and I am currently going
on tame trail rides with a walking cast on. Am walking without the cast at
home, but really slowly and with a limp.

    Thanks for any info,
    Jenni
