Indeed- and when people who have show horses ask about Sal, they just look blankly at me when I tell them that at 15 hands, his 8" of bone is superb - and also his 22 resting pulse. They have NO IDEA why that is important. EEK! Some of them ask why his legs are swollen:). But they think nothing about asking abotu breeding to our new young man who is over 15 hands already at nearly two years old and has barely more bone - although he will be exceptionally substantial in a few more seasons. JUst becuase he is big, he is better. Oh brother!au
