[RC] I have an adventure i would like to share with you........ - Breanne Kuhnhausen

First to introduce myself i am Breanne Kuhnhausen. I am 12 yrs old now and a junior endurance racer!

I am about to tell you about the ride of my life, my first endurance ride called "Diamontfield Jack (or something like that) I was only 10 or 11 when i did this ride!

It was early in the morning and Roxi and I were ready to go and our horses were all pumped up. As we started off people were passing and my horse is trying to catch up with them. All of the sudden out of the blue i hear Roxi hollering "Breanne stop your horse, his bit came out of his mouth" I dont know how i managed to stop Saltee but i did! Roxi climbed off her horse and fixed my bit. Then we were off again. A couple miles down the trail i feel my saddle going to the side further and further. Roxi yells again "Breanne get off your horse and stop him before you get trampled on." I was practicly under my horse!! I stopped Saltee once more, and tighten his cinch.

I bet you are thinking that the ride could have gotten any worse for me. Well thats what i thought too until Roxi screamed "Breanne DUCK! I had no clue what she was talking about, because i was gazing off looking at the beautiful scenery.forward to find a leaning tree with a pointy, sharp branch facing downwards. Knowing my horse he went underneath it. It didnt hurt him any, but it tore up my riding pants nad left a HUGE scar on my leg. (by the way up there where it says forward to find a leaning ect....it was supposed to be I looked forward to........) Anyways back with my story. It was finally the end of my "ride" I am so suprised that i kept on endurance racing but i am so glad that i did to meat those wonderful people and the nice trails!!!

Just to let you all know that ride had a very nice trail. It was just me with the bad luck!! And the woman who managed it was a very nice gal!!!

Best wishes to Tim, my good adult friend who sponsered me on many rides and just to say to you all kind of early "Merry Christmas and have a happy new year."

              -Breanne Kuhnhausen
