[RC] Leg confirmation in High Mileage horses - Karen

Has anyone in ridecamp looked at the legs of many of the high mileage horses and noted the confirmation.

Yes, I have photographed several of them. I believe Barney Fleming put together a slideshow for a talk he gives on conformation for the endurance horse. It is very interesting, indeed. I have also spent a lot of time on the trail watching how those horses move and basically how they do 'endurance. Boy when you look at the photos you sure can't pick out a high mileage horse from one that isn't. Funny thing, when you are at a ride -- we sure seem to have an awful lot of 5, 6, 7, 8 and even 10,000 mile horses still going down the trail and they just sort of blend in. Nobody can tell them apart in a crowd.
