A group of gals did a weekend at Pt. Reyes, CA in September (north of San Francisco). It was a great weekend and AND I introduced my trusty steed to the beauty of the ocean. . . at least I thought it was beautiful. Took some patience but finally got him to 'walk in the water'.
You can rent horses at Five Brooks Stables (private & group riding) or there are some ridecampers in the general area that might have better connections (or horses to share). Good luck!

I was wondering ,is there any place in the U.S. where I can ride my horse along the beach and in the ocean? I know some places have laws against this ,example:Hawaii. Sue
