    Sherie, I have a low withered barrel chested horse.  Used to literally lose saddle pads during rides.  Saddles would slide all over.  Mounting was embarassing;-)  The Sportsaddle solved all those problems.  Don't know why or how.  All I know is it fits and stays.  Jennifer.
