As an artist you must be pretty handy with your hands.  Have you thought about making panels with PVC pipe?  We made a round pen with it in a few hours.  Very lightweight, can make whatever size you need and very portable.  We strapped the panels together with bungie cords and stabilize the whole thing with smaller pvc stakes (the panels just slip over them).  They look very solid, but the bungies break if there is any major pressure.  I remember a website that had instructions on how to make them.  I 'll see if I can locate it.  Jennifer.

I looked at those corrals 2 go and thought that they looked pretty good except for one thing.  My horse can and will hop over anything less than 5 feet high so they are too low for my use.  I was pretty excited after buying a 6' high round pen to discover that the mare couldn't get out of it.  She can get out of my pasture anytime but stays put because she is with the other equines.....but I have always had to either take her with me (ponying) or leave her tied for her not to hop out and follow me while riding the other critters.

I am currently looking for panels that are not too heavy for me to handle and are at least 5' tall.  The round pen panels that I have are too heavy for me to use while camping out since each one weighs 87 lbs.
