[RC] Don't SHOOT the Dog - Tamara Taylor

Karen Pryor's book is called "Don't Shoot the Dog" and I agree that it is a
great introduction to operant conditioning. There are also horse specific books
out there such as "Clicker Training for your Horse" by Karen Pryor and
Alexandra Kurland.
Related horse website are:

http://www.on-target-training.com/
There is also an email group similiar to Ridecamp that is made up of
approximately 1500 people that swear by operant conditioning at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/clickryder/
And so on which goes to show there are many, many alternatives out there. I use
this method with my animals and it WORKS with less wear and tear on them AND
me! :o)
