Ridecamp: [RC] re: [RC] Confirmed multiple horse death due to a Large Round Bale

Regarding the death of two horses due to fighting over
hay while feeding from a round bale: I would not cite
this incident as a reason not to use round bales: clearly this
could have happended with any form of feed.  It is always
best to spread hay well around when feeding in the field so that
each horse has access to hay away from the others to avoid
just this type of tragedy.
