It was the lighting.  She was standing in the Alfalfa
field.  (Getting her head up was a chore).  In case you anyone hasn't
guessed, I believe in the bigger the person, the bigger the horse should
be.

She wears a size 6.  Her feet aren't that big for a
draft.  But then, they do a build out and shoe in ways that make the feet
bigger.

I did want to say something about that picture of Charles and his
Great Wooly Mammoth posing as a horse.  Charles, I kind of figured you
might be a big guy (to me anyone over 5' 9" is oversized), but all I could see
of you behind that beast was your head.  Were you taking
  a shower back there, I couldn't tell?  I thought I saw a puddle, or
maybe it was just the lighting.  lol.

  cya,
Howard (what size shoe does that horse take?)

I'm told by some friends in the eventing world that
"shockwave therapy" was helpful with some problems their horses
had.  I gave some thought to trying it with Keepers and Jon (my
    Percheron and Shire).
Has anyone tried it?  I found two websites
    suggesting it might help
    with Ringbone.
  http://www.vet.purdue.edu/horses/shockwavelaymandescrip.htm
    and http://www.theequinejournal.com/issue43/waveart43.html
  Charles PS:
To give scale to the picture of Keepers, I'm 6' 1.75" (in the
morning with my neck stretched as much as possible)

Ringbone is not necessarily an irreversible problem. There is a > vet
clinic in Central Alberta that experiences about 80 per cent success >
