With all these posts about the rider posting (unintended pun) on one or
another diagonal and affecting the horse, I find one question unanswered.
What if you never post? Neither I or my wife have ever learned to post!
we
have over 23,000 miles between us with over 95% in the top ten, a number
of
high mileage horses behind us and never a posting mile.
Is posting a necessity? I say no, and I believe it is an affection of
riders to make up for lack of condition as well as poorly conformed
horses.
