    Re: [RC] Ulcers - TddWil

Yes, I have a horse that colics about every 60 days. He is on psyllium for sand, has been dewormed for every type of worm (including tapeworms, encysted strongyles etc.) and has never had any surgery (a vet said adhesions cause colics). He is a poor eater and drinker at rides and has slow gut sounds. He was treated for 30 days with omeprazole. He colicked again after that. My other 2 don't colic and are managed identicallly. I am going to try U-Guard Daily. I would like to get him scoped but its an all day trip plus the vet costs. I hope to get in the study when it hits the East time zone but may not be able to wait that long. I hope 15 horses plan on coming to New Bolton or Jeannie Waldron's clinic so I can get in. I would like to hear from people who had horses diagnosed at the ride that did the initial study - what are you treating the horse with and how are things going?
