Re: [RC] ReactorPanel: Equine Affaire, Fittings in VT, MA, CT, NJ - Laney Humphrey

    Hi Linda,
I'm sure you'll hear from Carmi as well but I'll put my 2 cents worth in.  I've worked closely with Carmi at ReactorPanel for several years and believe me, the corporate atmosphere she works overtime to create is way different from that at OF!!!  At RP, we all work together as friends; we don't "sell" saddles, instead we demonstrate what we have found to be good about the RP concept and invite people who are curious to give the saddles a try; and we are committed to learning together about how to make life better for horses.  Carmi's visits are eagerly awaited because we get a chance to learn from her, but almost always she comes away having learned something from  us since we all come from different horse backgrounds and perspectives.  BTW, I'm interpreting your post to mean that you assume she will have a competing booth which is not true.  What it probably means is that there will be even more saddles for people to try and more people in the booth available to answer questions.
I would urge anyone even mildly curious about new saddle technology to visit the RP booth at Equine Affair or call the office for more information/catalog/personal fitting.  Carmi and others travel extensively to make sure anyone interested in trying the saddle can have their horse fitted.
    Cheers,
    Laney
PS I rode 50 miles of Shore to Shore and 100 miles of the Bryce Canyon XP ride in August in the Baker Dressage saddle - very happily and now have a Baker Trail.  My geographical area is San Jose south through central California.  If anyone is interested in a fitting, call the RP office 888-771-4402.

    >Berkeley, CaliforniaI find this slightly odd.  ReactorPanel already has dealersin the northeast.  One is based out of Long Island, andthere's another from the Hanover, New Hampshire area.I would think that you'd let them handle Equine Affairhere in New England. I just remember the reaction of Ortho-flex's local dealerswhen Len Brown showed up at Equine Affair with abooth two up from theirs.  Didn't go down well...at all. If I was one of your dealers, I'd be screaming bloodymurder. Linda B.
