[RC] November Equus Anniversary Issue - Jim Holland

For those of you who don't subscribe to Equus Magazine, the November
issue is a "must read". Run, don't walk to your nearest magazine store
or borrow a friend's copy. There are some great articles well worth your
    time.

    - An article by Bobbie Lieberman on the Arabian horse Equus and his life
since he became the "mascot" when Equus Magazine was born. Bobbie was
    Equus' "Mom"

    - An update on horse diseases and their current status.

    - A "Consumer Report" on Equestrian Products and their evolution.

    - A "Cause for Concern" on the horse's cultural position with regard to
man and a discussion of the vanishing places to ride, slaughter houses,
    etc.

    - The results of a photo contest....great horse pictures!

    - A paragraph on John Parke and his Icelandic Endurance Horses Remington
    and Skjoldur.

    - An article on reestablishing the Przewalski Horses in the wild in
    Mongolia.

    - An article on the Cream Draft Horses.

    - A touching article from Laura Hillenbrand, the Author of "Seabiscuit,
An American Legend", called "Life Lessons". An excerpt:

"Dogs will do anything we ask and demand nothing in return, Cats will
do nothing we ask and demand everything in return, but horses meet us
somewhere in the middle. Horsemanship......is a conversation."

    Don't miss it!

Jim, Sun of Dimanche, and Mahada Magic
