    RIck (and Carol) Brand brought one of their babies over for a "walk around" ridecamp last week. at 4 months he was amazingly good! and good exposure for him.

    They live next door, so it was pretty easy to do, just a walk down the driveway to see what all the new/strange excitement was about - this after watching from afar for 4 days. I'd hate to try to travel and then leave the baby behind during a ride tho. way too much chance for a bad experience which is just what you don't want to happen...

    I think it's good training for a youngster.  Since you
    know the needs of a foal, do what you think is best.
