[RC] My new horse I won - Karla Watson

Just wanted to update everyone about my new horse I won at Alpine in their raffle. Many wrote and asked I do this.

We have named him "Sterling" (thanks Brenda for the great name) and it just seems to fit him. He is steel grey (not for long though) and it has a nice sound to it. He is absolutely the sweetest thing you would ever meet. The family who boards him is in love with him as he always comes running up to greet them. He must of been handled quite alot at the Boys Ranch cause he is like a big puppy dog. A couple of quad riders came crashing by the other day and he didn't even flinch! Not bad for a 4 yr old Arab! I have ridden him 3 times and he is pretty well started. He knows leg pressure and has brakes already. He actually knows how to back up too! I took him on a mini trail ride around the property and he is not spooky--he has alot of confidence. I keep telling everyone that he is my Arab that acts like a mellow quarter horse. I'm not sure how well he will do in endurance yet but I know my 11 yr old twin girls are not going to have any problems riding this guy!

Thanks to all that sent in the GREAT names and congrats!
