    And  your remark that if "you can't afford protection than don't do endurance," is up there with "if you have to ask the price than you can't afford it" kind of thinking.  You must be from California!

    **Hey Howard, pretty extremist remark from you.  How about quit the California bashing?  Have you been around much of the state?  The rich, snooty type of people you are using to sterotype California exist everywhere.  We also have plenty of wonderful folks, salt of the earth, as well as too much of the low-rent trashy places. In fact, even though I was raised by a Southen Lady, from the other side of the family; I am reverting to my Southern white trash roots.  Come on out to Lake County, we have lots of falling down fences, junked vehicles and dumped refrigerators in my neck of the woods. You might feel right at home!
     
    To make it endurance related-nope, no way possible to trail ride barefoot around here.
