[RC] Biltmore 55, Short and Sweet - Jim Holland
40 starters, 20 finished.
Trails slippery, muddy, treacherous, left over from "Isadore".
Weather beautiful, 70's, nice breeze, sunshine.
Karen Clark on Jeb won it, and BC
Penny Sharpe, my visiting friend from Dallas, was 9th (her first Top
Ten), Sunny and I were 10th.
Penny will post her "experiences" as soon as she gets over calling
"Ralph". <grin> Seems it's a "little" different from Texas here. :)
My thanks to all the vets, especially Kathy Eichelburger and Ann
"Hardass" Stewart (her words...<grin>) for all their help with Penny and
her horse "Reno", Sunny's new buddy. Thanks, Ann...couldn't resist that!
