The DVE is a wonderful ride. If riders think it's flat they should get off for a while and walk it. If it is flat, then that is the ride and mental challenge for the day. Endurance has all sorts of meanings besides hills, wildlife, and scenery. It's the course not the direction or the scenery, and that is your endurance challenge for that day....
