RE: [RC] RE: [RC] Heart Rate Moniter boo boos - Vicki Austin

Mell,   I used to have a problem with the electrodes leaving not only a white spot but real, hot spots that lost the hair altogether.  I have two perminant scars on my horses back where the electrodes were.  That was when I used a regular (tree) saddle, and I tried six of the saddles with a tree. I amost gave up using the monitors because of this problem.     Usually the boo boos were under the stirrup bars, or the seat area, as I tried to move it around to see where it would not cause a problem.  Since I have had the treeless sport saddle, I have had no problems. I have had it now for four years.  Have had no boo boos from anything since the treeless saddle.  Maybe you will have to do the same.                                                             Vicki  Austin
