    The sad thing is that these stables *do* exist.
    
    I have pictures cut from 'Architectural Digest' that would make you weep.
    
    One of my personal favorites is a 'indoor arena' (covered arenas are just
    too gauche) of whitewashed stone, with clearstory windows, and bubinga wood
    exposed beams (for those of you not familiar with fine woods, bubinga is an
    African hardwood used as accent on fine pieces of furniture and musical
    instruments.  A 'beam' of it boggles the mind as to cost.).  I don't want to
    know what they use to 'condition' their arena.  Does BMW make a tractor?
