[RC] since we all do OTHER THINGS with our horses................ - Vicki Austin

Hey all you ride campers who do things besides endurance with your horses.

How about comming to the Western Maine Dressage and Eventing Fundraising Fun Show  that I manage.  It is especially for people who would like to show but don't usually, people who show and want to go to a NO STRESS show for fun,  people who want to try out a new disipline, or just want to observe until they feel brave enough to try it.
It is a BLAST.   We gear it towards halloween and formal dress is penalized in this show since some of the people who come are not regular show people and we don't want to intimidate anyone or turn anyone off.   Everyone is encouraged to ride in there regular gear, trail saddles, saddle seat, western, bareback, and try a dressage test (we have walk trot up to grand prix if you so desire) or try a pleasure class,  bare back class, stick horse class (yes really a STICK HORSE CLASS)    All the classes can be read so you don't have to memorise it, for those who don't know the tests already. Or your tests can be mailed or e-mailed to you ahead of time. You can even do a musical if you want.  (Mine and Kings personal favorites, we are planning on riding a musical to the Ballard of the Green Barets and The A team if I can get it together "in honor of two of my sons who are in the military, one a green baret and the other an army ranger")And OH Yes by all means dress up halloweeny.  We even have a costume class for the end of the day.

I know most of you don't live close enough but if you are in the area, stop by, lots of food for sale, we have a tack sale (things people donate to clean out their barns)  And the view from this place is spectacular.   If any of you came to the Northeast Challange, you saw this farm at the end of a dirt road where you just had watermelion and then turned around and went back down the trail.  It is also the place I hold  BOO out of.   The show is the next weekend after BOO.

I have attached an entry for you all.     Vicki Austin and King
