    Sorry to be so hard to please, but I wouldn't like that at all. I like a
    check early on for no other reason than to separate the horses up by
    recoveries.  That way if there's an unprepared horse running on nothing
    but heart, he'll get separated from the ones he's trying to travel with. 
    If you want to throw in a stop & go that's nothing but a pulse check,
    O.K. but I like to separate the horses up as soon as possible.
