    [RC] He/Him - Roy Drinnan

I am new to ridecamp - so I apologize if this is not sent out right.

I have been watching the comments pass by and I can't help but feel sorry
for the people that have nothing better to do than this.

I watched a phenominal horse win a very tough championship in Vermont last
summer, and I didn't hear any grief about the price of the horse or the
wealth of the rider/owner. It would seem that some people just need an
excuse when things don't work out the way the want or expect.

I challenge anyone to show me statistical proof that the money spent on
endurance riding is in any way proportional to the success of the rider or
mount. Look at the US team, it wasn't the most wealthy riders in the US.
By the way the conversation is going, the most wealthy should qualify above
everyone else. There doesn't seem to be any reason to actually ride, we
should just compare our wallets and pick a winner from the results.

    Just food for thought.

Cograds to the US and Canadian Teams.
