    Does anyone here know if you get the shot for the
    second year in a row, do you still need a
    booster? Our horses were vaccinated soon after
    the vaccine was developed last year. We didn't
    have any problems, and out barn has tons of
    mosquitos so we didn't want to take a chance. We
    got the vaccine again this year on the 7th. Do we
    need to get a booster shot again this time? Or is
    that jsut for the first time you've ever given
    the vaccine??

     Get the
    > intial shot and then get the booster 2 to 6
    > weeks after the initial one.  I do believe the
    > good news is, they only can get it once.  After
    > that, they're immune for life.  Get the shot!
