Congrats Maggie!! Well done!! And also to your daughter for putting her horse first, she has quite a future in front of her and was sensible enough to look ahead.

I've been fighting the flu since last Thursday and didn't think it would 
be a good idea to compete, so had planned on coming to help out where we 
could. Due to a horrible car crash, we lost a cousin and her husband 
Friday night and were in no shape to go anywhere this weekend. Hopefully 
we will be there for the spring ride, it sounds like a great ride. We've 
met the Dake's a few times and even though we are "newbies" they were 
very generous with their time and suggestions, what a great couple!

I do have one question for you, where do you get beet pulp here in 
Western Michigan? Do you make your own or buy it?

PS - not to get on soap box or anything, but this is the second time in 
two years we have lost loved ones to drunk drivers, please think of your
