[RC] Gaited horses/changing diagonals - Lysane Cree

    Hi,

There is alot of importance placed on changing diagonals regularly when riding, but what about gaited horses? The gaited horse I am riding at the moment is a Rocky Mountain horse and they do a four beat gait - singlefoot I think it is called. The legs on one side move together (like a pace) except that the legs come down individually (and not together as in the pace). So they don`t really have a diagonal to change :)   Any thoughts?

    Lysane
