Hi, I am Diane and live in
northern Michigan. I have just subscribed to this list and there is so
much information here! I have a wonderful Arabian, Chandon, the Wonder
Horse, who is in training to be a dressage horse maybe one day. We are
beginning lateral work now and he loves his job. I teach Centered Riding
(Level 1 and hope to move up) which has helped me a lot especially out on the
trails. I rode a 15 mile beginner ride in '96 on him before I realized I
needed a hip replacement. Chandon got me through this as I was in a lot of
pain. Now I am better, new hip and all, and I am thinking about (maybe)
doing another novice ride, just for fun! So, I will probably just stay in
the bushes and listen to all you guys and maybe ask a bunch of questions along
the way. Until then ride safe and enjoy your
