RE: [RC] [RC] For the sake of the fish - Nancy Mitts

Mine do fine in the heated tanks.
I feed mine a few pond pellets, but it says not to feed when it gets below 50 degrees, so I don't. We do get some warm spells down here during the winter, if we do I offer them a little food.

For the lady with the dying fish...how big are your tanks? ours are at least 90 gallons. Small muck buckets are probably getting too hot & not enough oxygen.

Well, thanks to this list, I went to Wal-Mart and bought about 7 goldfish
and 2 bottom cleaners. Put one goldfish and the 2 bottom feeders in my 35
gal tank and 3 fish each in the 100 gallon tanks. As of this morning, I have
never seen happier fish. They are racing around when I come to peek in,
resting swimming or eating at other times. We have well water, so I can't
    address the chemical thing.

Here's my question. My tanks are heated in the winter, will they be OK and
    does anyone feed them?

    Dolores
