I get my paint at Lowe's.  A large
hardware/do-it-yourself store should have it.

Lime also works to mark turns.  A friend cut surveors'
ribbon into little pieces and threw it on the ground. 
It stuck to the ground and jerks wouldn't take the
time to move the tiny pieces of ribbon.

My ride is on State Wildlife Management Area.  I told
the manager what I was going to use and why.  I'd had
vandels pulling ribbon and one year they re-marked the
trail.  Riders were out 6 hours on a 20-mile trail! 
The manager gave me permission to use bio-paint and
I've never had the problem with vandels again.

It's easier to ask forgiveness...

Ribbons tied on close pins are excellent trail markers.
