Hi Rebecca,
That is a loaded question. Its hard to ask how much
is too much for a four year old. It would all depend on the breeding, training,
health and a numerous amount of other factors. The question is rather, how much
is too much for *you*. I can not afford to spend a lot of money on a young
horse, so I am more inclined to buy a horse that needs some or a lot of work. So
long as he passes the health and conformation criteria. You would be amazed what
you could find out there.
