Just catching up with the posts - home computer died and I am hanging around after work...
My brother had been all over the world, South America, South East Asia, Northern Europe.... he's been to Viet Nam, Cambodia, and was there the week after the massacre someplace in Central America - it's been awhile so I forgot what the name of the place was - traveled alone by backpack, never had a problem. He was in Madrid last year, just landed in town and was looking for a place to stay. Someone cloroformed him and he woke up with only the clothes on his back. The police were not sympathetic. The embassy was closed. He had to beg some other tourists for funds to pay for a hotel to spend the night....
I hope that everyone stays in one piece and has a good time in Spain. Saw Heather Bergantz the day before her and Red left for Spain. Go Red and Heather! Go USA!
